Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Good Drivers Club (“GDC”), a motor-insurance broking service operated by The Insurance Exchange Agency Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore. By using GDC, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
GDC helps you obtain motor-insurance quotations, and to buy, renew and service motor-insurance policies through insurers we work with. We act as an insurance broker/intermediary; the insurance contract itself is between you and the relevant insurer, on that insurer’s terms.
2. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete information (about yourself, your vehicle, driving and claims history). Insurance decisions and pricing rely on it.
- Use the service lawfully and only for your own insurance needs.
- Keep your contact details up to date so we can serve and reach you.
3. Quotations & policies
Quotations are indicative and subject to insurer acceptance, underwriting and the insurer’s policy terms. A policy is only in force once issued by the insurer and any required premium is paid. Cover, exclusions and excesses are set out in the insurer’s policy documents.
4. Communications
You agree that we may contact you about your quotations, renewals and policies by WhatsApp, email, phone and web chat. You can opt out of WhatsApp messages at any time (reply STOP) or ask us to change how we contact you.
5. Fees
Premiums are set by insurers. Any fees charged by GDC will be disclosed to you before you proceed.
6. Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for insurer decisions, for losses arising from inaccurate information you provide, or for matters outside our reasonable control.
7. Privacy
Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes & governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date reflects the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
